Internal organ issue: Several of the organs in your abdomen, if abnormal, can cause pain to be :'referred' to the back. So, it is possible to have a problem with the pancreas or liver or uterus and have pain in the abdomen and in the back, without having anything abnormal with the back. If the abdominal and back pain goes away with urinating or passing gas, thje problem is obvious. If not, see your doctor.
