How long do i have to wait to workout after wisdom teeth extraction?

A couple of days: It is important that you are not pumping your blood too much in the first day or two after an extraction. You want a clot to form, and exercise can make the area continue to bleed. Ask your oral surgeon what his recommendation is.

A day or two.: I agree with dr. Goodrick. As an oral surgeon i tell my patients to wait at least 2 days before working out and then if the increased cardiac output causes discomfort to make your workout lighter until the discomfort is no longer there. For some runners and people who do heavy workouts that may be as long a 7 to 10 days.
