Usually after 24-48: Hours you can begin to eat more normally. After wisdom tooth surgery i tell my patients to stay with liquids and very soft food for 24 hours and then move into your regular diet over the next few days. You may read my detailed oral surgery post op suggestions at www.Drleehinson.Com and go to post operative section. Good luck!

Depends: I have my patients on a non-chew diet for at least 24 hours. After that, it depends on how you feel. Depending on the difficulty of the surgery you could be back to a regular diet within a couple days or up to a week.
