U cannot, but: U cannot "strengthen" your acl and mcl.However, you can strengthen your quadriceps that helps control your knee and also work on specific proprioceptive exersises(coordination type) that are sport-specific.This may lessen the chance of acl injury but this is somewhat controversial.Good luck!
