Prospan is a dried: Ivy leaf extract in syrup form that is used to treat bronchial inflammation ; cough. It is pregnancy category c. Drugs.Com defines fda category c as “animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus ; there are no adequate ; well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks.” don't recommend use.
