What side effects?: Indole-3-carbinol naturally occurs in a variety of cruciferous vegetables. As a supplement it is very safe. High doses have been reported to cause a rash, dysequilibrium (dizziness), tremor, intestinal pain and nausea but these are rare and went away with a lower dose.
