When things get this difficult, such an evaluation can help sort out why it is hard to knock you out and why you are so tired during the day. If you can, see a sleep doc who is also a psychiatrist.It is hard to comment on your meds without knowing your history. Average # of meds in bpd is 3.5 to 4.

However, you have to be extremely careful when taking sleeping pill with a benzo and you should follow the instruction of the prescribed doctor. Always practicing behavior therapy for insomnia before relying to med(s) which could become problematic later on.
