i've been having night sweats. i'm on zoloft (sertraline) for anxiety, i drink occasionally and i don't work out. i keep it cool in my room. what's the cause?

Zoloft (sertraline): Depends on dosage of zoloft (sertraline) & if recent changes in dose were made. Also, alcohol can intensify adverse effects of zoloft (sertraline), such as sweating & activation symptoms.

Yes: Night sweats can be a side effect of antidepressants commonly referred to as SNRIs such as Effexor, Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) or Cymbalta.  However, other antidepressants can also cause this.
If you are having this side effect, please tell your doctor so that you can find a solution or another medication which may work better for you.

been on celexa (citalopram) for 2 years & no side effects until the past 3 months drenching night sweats. could this be celexa (citalopram)? why would it just start now?

Celexa: If you have been on celexa for two years without side effects - would doubt it would start now. Per Drugs. Com  increased sweating can occur in up to 11.3 % of people. I recommend that you discuss this with your doctor because drenching night sweats are not normal.

i'm busy going off venlor (150mg to 75mg to 37.5mg) and going back to cilift. how long will venlor side effects take to go away? i get night sweats and feel dizzy for about 2 hours after i've taken it in the morning.

Side effects: medication side effects should not last any more than a day or two. If that would be the case your symptoms are from something else and you should notify your provider.

can i stop using cymbalta (30mg) cold turkey after 2 weeks and a half of use ? im not feeling good and i have some very bad side effects ( dizziness, severe anxiety, nightmare, night sweats etc ) thanks for your help.

just started zoloft (sertraline) 25 mg last night. i don't have any side effects so far. when will i get bad side effects. does it happen immediate or weeks?

If you were to: Have side effects you could feel some shortly after taking the medication. For instance, if you were to have insomnia it could occur that night. If you had initial irritability  that could start the same day. Other side effects may take longer to develop. Relax. I encourage you to stop focusing so much on side effects and to think about getting well. Take care.

is it okay to take zoloft 50mg in the morning and hydroxyzine 10mg at bedtime? i am worried about serotonin syndrome and side effects that will make my anxiety worse. i need something to stop me from having panic attacks in the middle of the night?

Most common ones: The most common ones (not possible to include all in 400 characters) are restlessness, mild headache, and mild stomach upset or loosening of stools. Each occurs in about 15% of people and usually go away in 2-3 weeks. Uncommomly, suicidal thinking may worsen at first, so be carefully monitored by a therapist. Over the long run there may be mild weight gain and sexual problems.
