Serotonin : I am a psychologist, not a medical doctor, but my understanding is that there is more serotonin in the gastrointestinal tract then there is in the brain. This is why G.I. side effects are common with many of the serotonergic antidepressants. ask your prescribing doctor for direction regarding these symptoms.

Possibly: Absolutely yes.  Irritable bowel syndrome commonly occurs in concert with anxiety.  However, diarrhea and constipation can sometimes be indicative of other health problems.  See your doctor for a proper evaluation.

You should try taking the medication in the am and see if this makes a difference for you. The constipation may be from many sources. Try hydration and exercise daily. Please Drink Water: It is most likely not eating enough. That is quite a large amount of fiber. I would hope you have drunk one to two liters of water to flush that through.

Miralax (polyethylene glycol): However, a thorough GI work up is indicated to rule out other causes of constipation, including other medications and over the counter preparations, especially antihistamines which can be very constipating and are present in many over the counter sleeping aids. In my experience i can't recall any patients with chronic constipation from sertraline. Irritable bowel, constipating type comes to mind.

Not worth the risk.: This supplement's effectiveness is likely related to stimulant properties, even without caffeine. Using zoloft (sertraline) will make it harder for your liver to metabolize the supplement so your blood levels of it will be higher risking cardiovascular health.  There are safer ways to improve fitness.

no: I don't know if you mean once, by mistake, or regularly.  If you doubled your dose by mistake once, it's unlikely to be harmful, although you might suffer serotonin side-effects (stomach upset, jitteriness, restlessness).  Taking 300 on a regular basis usually does more harm than good.  It's not okay if your doctor didn't prescribe it that way.

Difficult.: Patients are usually on these medications for anxiety/ depression symptoms.  It does alter the brain chemistry, so to allow the body to slowly adapt to not having it is tricky and can take months to years.  You could feel a rebound of the original symptoms and/or other effects if you stop too quick.
