Teas &amp; Pregnancy: It is recommended that you not drink nettle leaf, fennel, sassafras, rosemary (in large amounts), hibiscus, ephedra, licorice root, raspberry leaf,  oregano, cinnamon, anise, senna or sage tea.  Encourage you to limit caffeine intake -so if you drink white, red, yellow or green tea- try to make it decaffeinated. Ginger, lime, barley, peppermint and thyme tea are safe during pregnancy.

im currently 9 weeks prgnant. is coffee/tea okay during pregnncy? & since i'm lactose intolerant, what can i take for my baby? pls advise.

Decaf and lactofree: You can enjoy your teas and even some coffee, but i would realy stick to decaf as much as possible.  As far as being lactose intolerant (and i know from personal experience), there are many lacotse free products out there now.  You can buy lactose free milk (tastes exactly like regular milk), and can use that to make things like pudding, etc. Also, yogurt is a good addition for more dairy.

my period due on 02/06 but have pregnacy type symptoms but husband had vercectomy 2years ago but when i have a cup of tea im always sick but neg test?

Did you get a blood: serum HCG test. They are the most accurate. If you feel pregnant,you must get this test to rule it out, even though your husband had a vasectomy. Unfortunately,you can still(very rare)get pregnant after a vasectomy..

so i drank arizona green teas with gensing and honey my whole pregnancey shes 11m old and im just now hearing that gensing can cause miscarriages?

Unknown effects: Many herbs have "associations" with birth defects or miscarriages, which means that people taking them had those problems.  That doesn't necessarily mean that the herb caused them because some birth defects or miscarriages happen spontaneously.  However, general pregnancy recommendations are to avoid anything that might harm your baby until checking with your doctor, including herbs.

Drink tea and walk: You may drink tea and the best exercise is walking as spring approaches , you and your child can go walking together, he in the buggy , of course.

Anytime: The ingredients appear to be safe (double-check with your doctor) but you also need to take a daily prenatal vitamin that has additional vitamins that are not present in this tea.

Of course not: Nor will is cleanse you of "poisons", real or imaginary. If it did, the research piranhas at the nih would have figured out how to make scientific reputations by publishing about it. Enjoy your tea but don't expect magic -- and perhaps instead of doing illegal drugs that actually are likely to hurt you.

: I would enter these and all other meds you might be taking at Drugs.com interaction checker and then discuss with Dr who knows how much you weight and your liver function. Then decide. Lorazepam can be addictive in some.  Review black box warning on Drugs.com.

Yes: Caffeine during pregnancy is a debatable topic. I usually suggest that one caffeinated drink a day while pregnant is thought to be safe.  You want to avoid triple lattes, especially if you drink them more than once a day.  Herbal teas can have compounds in them that are portentially dangerous to a growing fetus.  Stick with the mainstream teas if you must and limit intake to once daily.
