Yes: That means your cervix is open about 0.5 cm . If you are having contractions and are full term you can be in early labor.If  its not your first pregnancy or had kids vaginally then dilatationof cervix can be a normal finding even in early pregnancy.

Not normally: The cervix should be relatively thick (>35mm) in the early stages of pregnancy.  A short cervix increases the likelihood of a premature delivery.  If the cervix is open, the risk is much higher, and may warrant the placement of a cerclage to hold the cervix closed until about 36 weeks.

Examination: The best answer for this is to have your doctor do an exam and see if your cervical os appears normal. The cervical opening is going to vary widely from person to person depending on their age and number of previous pregnancies. Any Obgyn will have the experience to visually note if yours is normal or not

Take the test: If you want to know if you are pregnant, take a test. In today's world you do not need to wonder if you are pregnant or not based on symptoms. Pregnancy tests are available at any pharmacy and in minutes you will have your answer. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.

Yes: Depends on your medical history, but barring any repetitive reasons, subsequent pregnancy should be OK

No: Your cycles can vary from month to month. Given your history of last sexual incident and negative pregnancy test, you are very unlikely to be pregnant. Relax and do some  other activity to take your mind off this.

24 weeks pregnant, my gyn prescribed me itamelagin because my cervix is 1cm open. are these suppositories save during  pregnancy?

See below: Itamelagin is not a med used in the us, so i'm not too familiar, but it appears to be a combination medication for trichamonas, yeast infection, and possibly bacterial vaginosis.  If that's what you're being treated for, then use it as directed.  It has not been proven to prevent preterm delivery.

i've missed my period but 4 days. i took two pregnancy test and both were negative i feel sick though. my cervix is high firm and a slit open?

Accepted Answer

The cervical: Exam is irrelevant.  Most pregnancy tests are positive by the time u miss a period.  Check another in a couple of days but I do not think the nausea is from pregnancy.  I could be wrong though.
