Wound: No, not necessarily. If there is yellow pus, increasing swelling, redness, heat, tenderness or red streaking - those are problems. What was your last tetanus shot? If it has been more than 10 years or you don't know - then it should be repeated. Take care.

Likely normal: If the site is not hurting and not red, it is likely to be dried serum that normally exudes in the healing process.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

? Joint fluid: This needs to be seen.  The yellowish fluid could be from the cut extending into a joint which is leaking out and causing the yellowish coloration. This should be evaluated by a hand surgeon if possible or at least seen in the ER. Get it checked out.

Red with pus: Swelling, heat, pain, pus, and redness are all signs of infection. Sometimes, within a scab, we can develop a yellow film on the healing tissue which is not pus, but rather, fibrin. This is actually a sign of good healing.

See your doctor: Skin grafts take many weeks to fully heal. If you have questions about yours i would recommend seeing your surgeon. In the meantime keep it lubricated with something like vaseline.

ENT doctor can check: For a spot in the nostril that doesn't heal, people usually try otc neosporin cream (neomycin and polymyxin b). If that doesn't work, the primary care doctor may do a culture to see what bacteria are there, and may use prescription bactroban ointment. If it still doesn't heal or if it comes back, the ENT doctor can check it out to be sure it is not something really bad.
