Cancer Risk: Bile acids are excreted in the stool unchanged in less than 24 hours.  However, if the bile acids remain in the body more than 24 hours, they break down into potent carcinogens.  Prolonged contact with the intestines and colon result in carcinogenic changes--i.e., bowel cancer.  Vitally important to have a bowel movement every day!  You need more fiber (psyllium husks), magnesium, and water.
