CT scan: It depends what do you call a regular ct scan but usually IV contrast dye is needed to visualize the aneurysm. There are non contrast exams and others where IV contrast is employed. Where is the aneurysm located ?. If it's large  and calcified and perhaps located in the abdomen or chest it can be suggested by the non contrast ct. An ultrasound can detect readily in the abdominal aorta.

Depends: A ct scan would usually show an aneurysm, but it depends where. If you are looking for an abdominal aortic aneurysm , a non contrast ct is adequate. If you are looking for an intracranial aneurysm, a ct angiogram with IV contrast or an mra would be indicated.

Yes: The contrast is to show blood flow. While some aneurysms have wall to wall flow, most are lined by thrombus, with only the central portion of the aneurysm showing flow. The CT scan can show the wall of the vessel, as well as flow. An arteriogram only shows flow.

Unlikely: Due to resolution of a ct scan, many small aneurysms may not be seen, and, by far, the MRI would be far better, but again, it might take gadolinium.  However, the cat angio could well detect an aneurysm, and this might work as well or better than a magnetic resonance angio.

Yes: Has to be a CTA (CT angiogram). CT scan of the head without contrast doesn't detect aneurysms unless they are larger. CT scan of the head with contrast has a slightly better chance. : uncoiling of the aorta is part of aging and is not dangerous, as long as there is not aneurysm. An ultrasound examination is usually sufficient to evaluate for an aneurysm.
