Yes: When the spine or sacrum is involved, nerve root irritation or compression can result in back pain, radiculopathy, or symptoms of compression to  spinal cord compression such as  weakness or loss of bowel and/or bladder control..

It is possible but: It would  have to be a massive central disc herniation especially if the spinal canal is stenotic or smaller than normal.  This can be immediate or over a variable period of time especially if it creates a condition known as a myleopathy with changes occuring in the spinal cord which can take weeks, to months or years.

Rehab takes 30 days: Usually the first 30 days will tell how much will return after a stroke.  So aggressive rehab is soooo important in the first 30 days.   After first 30 days, only see 10-15% improvement.  So, good luck.

Limb loss depression: In addition to depression some people would be traumatized. Some might even experience acute traumatic stress disorder or even full blown posttraumatic stress disorder.  Besides the physical limitations emerging from this loss, most people would experience grief over the loss of important parts of themselves.

Bedbugs: It sounds like something is biting you.  It could be many different things, but the most likely culprit is bedbugs.  Take the sheets off the bed and look in the seams of the mattress and pillows for little black bugs.  They are the size of coursely ground pepper.  If you find them, put them into a bag and have your primary doctor or dermatologist look at the bug.  Bed bugs are easily recognized.

Needs evaluation: Bruiising that is spontaneous indicates an abnormality of the ability for blood to clot, so the lightest trauma can cause bleeding.  There are many causes for this, mostly defects in the ability of the bone marrow to produce proper clotting elements.  Bleeding can occur internally and cause significant damage in these circumstances.  You need to see your family doctor immediately, or go to an ER.

Possible hives: Without a photo or exam, large blotchy rash sounds like hives, but 5th disease, a common viral illness, starts with flushed cheeks and then progresses to a blotchy, lacy rash on the outer parts of the arms and legs and sometimes the chest.  Hives are usually itchy, may come from an allergy to a med or food or body reaction to recent illness.  Treat with oral Benadryl, (diphenhydramine) etc. Fifth disease not itchy.
