That's too much. : I wouldn't think it prudent to pummel yourself to sleep with all of that.  If anything, maybe just 25mg of Benadryl nightly. Although it would be better in the long run if you didn't take anything - would be a lousy few days but in the end your sleep would be more natural and spontaneous.

Benedryl side effect: No. Withdrawl symptoms are related to a body's reaction after cessation of exposure to an addictive substance. Benedryl=dyphenhydramine is not an addictive substance, so withdrawl would not be medically anticipated.  You may have rebound swelling of the sinus tissues that had been treated by the antihistamine.

I doubt it: Why take an antihistamine to get high? I have seen it precipitate seizures and it usually makes people very drousey and some children get very hyper  ... After a period of time tachyphyllaxis may occur anyway you will stop itching and the aalergies will clear up.

Few problems: they don't usually cause withdrawals. at most whatever condition you are taking them for could bounce back with a vengeance, but that is not likely.
