Subluxation?: Pain with movement, arm longer than other and the way you hurt your arm makes it possible you subluxated your shoulder. Visit your doctor for an evaluation.

i was playing my baseball game and got hit on the thumb part of my glove. i felt immediate pain i can't really move my thumb. there's pain and popping?

Injury: Apply ice to minimize swelling and pain. Rest the hand and thumb. If pain and swelling worsen, proceed to the hospital er. Otherwise expect pain on motion for 7to10 days. If the thumb pains at rest, however, don't wait to get it checked.

my index finger got caught in a baseball glove. i had instant pain and today its knuckle is purple. i can't bend it. could it be broken?

See an orthopedist: Particularly one who specializes in hand surgery.  This is not likely to be broken, but you will probably need imaging studies.  May have dislocated a joint, sprained or strained ligament or tendon, etc.  Go and get seen and hope you are better soon.  Not funny at all.

i think i fractured my left wrist playing baseball, do i need to get a ct scan?

Probably not.: If you happen to be a professional player, then maybe. Otherwise, plain x-rays will show most fractures. If you have persisting pain with no visible break on x-ray, a ct scan may be considered to take a closer look at the structures of the wrist. If this is the case, then an MRI may also be considered, which can better show the soft tissues (like tendons and ligaments) if there is a sprain/strain.

my son has a buckle fracture of his left thumb can he do more damage to it if he plays baseball?

LEFT THUMB FX: As long as the thumb has splint and well bandaged it is well protected and cannot be affected by playing  baseball.

24 days after cast removed (casted 4 weeks) for non-displaced left wrist triquetrum chip fracture, son still has pain during baseball.  is this normal?

Pain : Have your child reevaluated. I don't think the doctors would recommend his ball playing four weeks aftera wrist injury.

i got hit in the outer left wrist  with a 90 mph fastball no fracture it could be a bone bruise. how long should i wait until returning to baseball?

Gradual return...: Work your way back into baseball as your swelling/ pain decreases &you regain full motion/ strength. 
 
You may also expect that returning to certain activities may be more difficult than others. Part of this will be based on whether you have injured your dominant/ non-dominant wrist & your position.

With any persistent symptoms consider additional imaging, such as an mri,  to r/o soft tissue inj.

Go to ER: Have a visit to emergnecy room to evaluate for infection or sever allergy. Do so quickly.

Not surprising: Not surprising that you still have swelling. However, i would suggest seeing a doctor to make sure nothing is broken.

i got a catfish barb stuck in my hand. it's really red and swelling up. i washed it well. should i go to my doctor?

Seek immediate care.: Some marine  ; freshwater catfish can inflict envenomations via a dorsal spines ; pectoral fins. This can lead to significant pain ; inflammation.  Treat by immersing area of bite in very hot water. Remove any spines w tweezers.  Wound should be cleaned out. Irrigate with fresh water. Prophylactic antibiotics are indicated. Nsaid’s or tylenol (acetaminophen) can be used for pain. If you have not had a tetanus sho.
