Yes: Bacterial STDs like gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis and trichomoniasis are all treatable with antibiotics. Viral STDs like herpes, hpv and  hiv. It is very important that you get seen so that an accurate diagnosis can be made and proper treatment started for you and your sexual partners.

Not an STD: That description does not describe any acute std i ave ever heard of. The rash is not an std.

Bacterial vaginosis: Bacterial vaginosis or BV is caused by  a bacteria called Gardnerella vaginalis. The bacteria is supposed to be there, but sometimes it gets overgrown. It is not a STI, but it is associated with sexual activity. Other causes can be from dousching. Some women it can come about because of a lack of vaginal lactobacilli.

Yes if asymptomatic: There are still dangers.  A partner who believes himself / herself to be "std-free" may have syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, herpes 2, hiv, chancroid, the hpv strains and granuloma inguinale.  All can travel this way.  I originally misread and am sorry.

See MD: If you are referring to your genetalia feeling swollen you should see your OB/GYN for a full history and exam. It would be helpful to know your age and medical history, sexual history. If you have a concern, you probably will benefit physically and mentally from a physician visit. Don't worry you'll be okay see your OB/GYN.

A few possiblities: Non sexually transmitted yeast infections are the most common cause of vaginal itching. Genital herpes and trichomoniasis are common sexually transmitted infections that cause genital itching. Get tested.
