Bacterial vaginosis?: The main cause of vaginal discharge with strong odor is bacterial vaginosis, an overgrwoth of mostly normal bacteria. However, the discharge in BV usually is white or gray, not colored. Despite "no chance" of STD, you might still need testing. For example, trichomonas could cause this and can show up years after catching it. Cervicitis is possible (some cases are due to STD, most are not).
