Getting caught: I don't know if it will make a difference. BUT WHY TAKE THE RISK? - this is a time consuming and costly test.

No: The EEG will reveal awake and asleep brain waves. If while using cannabis you were very relaxed the EEG may show a pattern of a relaxed brain state. But  the EEG findings are not specific for medication or other substances.

Eeg will not show any features of add.However, egg can rule out conditions such as absence seizures that can present as staring spells.
Egg is not needed for diagnosis of add.

Wilsons disease: can cause hepatic encephalopathy which in turn can produce slow anterior triphasic waves on an EEG in the absence of liver failure it would not likely produce changes on an EEG. There are labs tests and eye findings that may be helpful in arriving at a diagnosis.

Yes.: Yes, the stages of sleep are identified through eeg.  Stages w (wakefulness), n1, n2, n3, and r (rem). You sleep study will be able to measure the time and % you spend in each of these states.  Sleep patterns and architecture change for individuals throughout life. They are dynamic and distinct.

Quite frequently: The eeg is a crude measure of brain electrical activity.  It often also contains events of eye movements, swallowing, breathing, movement, as well as outside electrical events including lightning.  It is very important for the neurologist evaluating the eeg to be knowledgable about all the possible artifacts and variations.  Eegs on children are very often full of such non-epileptic events.

EEGs: EEGs are not used in the diagnosis of MS. While MS may have changes seen on EEGS, those are usually with quite advanced disease.  MRIs and evoked potential responses along with a complete physical/neurologic exam are generally the studies of choice.  EEGs will definitely show "encephalopathy", but as there are many causes for encephalopathy it may not help if finding the etiology of the enceph.

Need clarification: CNS vasculitis is an inflammatory condition affecting the brain and is diagnosed by tests of structure (mri, arteriogram...) and less of function (eeg, evoked potentials.
However, there are frequent eeg abnormalities depending upon the presentation of the vasculitis such as whether the patient has had a seizure.  I hope this helps.  Take care.

Depends: A large stroke that involves the outer layer of the brain (cortex) can cause enough depression of the electrical activity that this will be detectable on an eeg. Due to the somewhat limited space resolution (think that there are only about 10 electrodes per head side or so) a very small amount of no functioning brain tissue (stroke) is difficult to detect. An eeg is not the test of choice for this.
