Potentially: Ativan (lorazepam) is a sedative. Like any other benzodiazepine, alcohol, barbiturate, etc., it will have a dose-dependent depressant effect on your energy / motivation (hence libido), and in higher doses can basically prolong physiologic process to orgasm so long as to make unobtainable. Talk to your dr about this important side effect and treatment alternatives.

Decreased libido?: When you say decreased libido, do you mean you don't wanna, or you wanna but you cant? And if you cant, do you mean it doesnt go up, or it goes up, but nothing comes out?

Few reports only: I have heard a few reports of viagra (sildenafil) increasing the libido of women, but no study has proved this to be the case.  Viagra (sildenafil) and Cialis are very safe, so taking one won't hurt you.  Take one, and see what happens.

Never heard of this: Effect of Abilify (aripiprazole) to increase libido, but it might persist.  If not, wellbutrin (bupropion) in low doses -50-75 mg can also increase libido for some people.  Your doctor can also test your testosterone and other hormone levels to see if that is responsible.

Revisit your doctor: Zoloft is an antidepressant with fairly good antianxiety agent as well. It maybe well to ask your doctor to have you discontinue Buspar (buspirone) , increase zoloft to 100mg (in a.M&gt; of course), ask taper Ativan and discontinue. If sleep continues to be a problem then ask if you can increase trazodone to 100mg at bedtime.

Increase: Increase to 30 for two months   If not effective, try 35's
If still bad, switch to IUD Or use condoms for a cycle to see this is you or the Pill problem Also every person responds to different pills differently.The ratio of estrogen to progestin in the pills affect you too Talk to your doctor to decide which formula will be most suitable    weight gain? stress? etc can make you feel  miserable too

Yes: Pcos is failure of the egg to fully ripen and ovulate.  Hence the natural hormone rhythm is disturbed, which can result in  depression, distress, prolonged pms symptoms, infertility, abdominal and sexual pain, all of which can  decrease libido.

It's normal: Cymbalta can affect your libido both ways. It's more common to find a low libido, but it can also increase it.

Good question!: Oral contraceptive pills can decrease the circulating levels of testosterone in a woman's body--theoretically decreasing sex drive.  Most women are not affected by this.  The NuvaRing can also do the same, but to a lesser extent.  Diaphragms, sponges, and iud's (intrauterine devices) would be much less likely to decrease sex drive.  Talk to your doctor, sex drive is complicated.  :-).

Complex question!: This is a complex issue and needs to be addressed first by an md. If medical problems are ruled out, then other issues can be addressed in therapy, which may enhance your sex drive.  Examples:  is your sex drive low only with one partner or all partners?  Do you have a history of sexual abuse you need to deal with?  Do you have conflicts about your sexuality because of family values or religion?
