Difficult: Flushing from embarrassment is commonplace. Severe flushing compounds embarrassment in many individuals. Behavioral modification therapy may help you to remain more composed in these situations and lessen the emotional response whe triggering events arise. Psychologists are trained to evaluate and treat these conditions. Ask your physician for a referral.

Swollen glands: These could be reaction to recent infection or even irritation in the scalp which caused these nodes to develop. If you are concerned confirm with your md.

Ecchymosis: Well, I am not very familiar with your personal life style. However, to dissolved  the ecchymosis is best if  you apply heat at this point. In the shower for couple of mints and or heat up warmers on the microwave. Apply heated bag for at least 5 mints 2-3x per day. Eventually they will dissolve. Remember within the first 24 hrs apply cold same duration of time and after 24 hrs follow the above.

Confusing question: Is the kid just chubby with neck roles that sweat against each other? Is this an isolated issue with a skinny neck ? Infants sweat &amp; expel heat more in their head/neck than their trunk, so this may be a normal variation. You can blow the area dry with a hair dryer on no heat setting &amp; baby powder (no starch) may help. Have her doc evaluate it at the next checkup.

See your doc: If it has been there that long you need to see your doc. If s/he cannot help you they can send you to a dermatologist. If you have been scratching the area daily or otherwise treating it with irritating material that could explain it's persistence, but it should have improved if you left it alone that long.

Breakout: keep the area clean, don't touch or "pop" the zits. think about what may have brought these on?  using the phone on the right, shaving, in grown hair, shirt collar?  Zits typically run their course in 4-5 days if they persist longer, spread or start oozing this could be a different type of skin infection and you will need to go see your doctor for some antibiotics.

This is caused by sun damage that results in redness/broken capillaries and brownish discoloration on the sides of the neck and chest. Use of daily SPF may help to prevent worsening. IPL treatments (also called photofacials) can also help to even out the pigmentation.
