You may: have had some trauma due to the tube which was inserted through your mouth/or nose for the anesthesia...If this is the case it should go away in a few weeks....Check it out with your PCP!

See doctor: Typically post-operative symptoms should improve gradually with time. With such severe pain causing you to drop to your knees 5 days post-op, I would be seen by physician in person so a comprehensive physical exam can be completed to look for any signs of infection or surgical complications.

Mouth: If you had a tube in your mouth called intubation it may be from the tube otherwise it sounds like you may have bitten your tongue and caused a small bruise in the tongue. Check it out with an ENT but for now do warm salt water gargles.

Allergy: You may have had an allergic reaction the other day.  Most likely it was from the cherry.  The bumps could be from the allergic reaction but I cannot see them very well on the photo.  I suggest you see your doctor for confirmation.  In the meantime over the counter Benadryl (diphenhydramine) will help with the itching.  Be seen immediately for any lip or tongue swelling, lightheadedness, or trouble breathing.
