i have severe left shoulder pain, above my shoulder blade.. pain is worse when i breath it hurts my heart. pain gets bad when i eat or drink?

Need evaluation :   This could be chest wall muscle pain, pain from inside the chest sometimes call pleurisy, pain from your heart, sometimes call pericarditis, or some other reason. You need to see your physician to get this evaluated.

pain in neck above left collar bone that comes and goes and left shoulder pain that comes and goes, hurts when driving. no pain when lifting. hurts holding arm out like pouring drink. no heart issues?

: Your description of the paint sounds most likely for it to be a musculoskeletal pain. Try to avoid the emotions that bring it on and use anti-inflammatories for a few days, to see if it helps. If not, you should see your doctor for a follow up. Good luck.

Referred pain: I suspect  referred pain from the neck but other  causes could be  involved like esophageal involvement,  or referred  from gall bladder. Your physician can clarify this and have you get the appropriate  evaluation

: Gallbladder and stomach inflammation may cause this referred pain  Consider H pylori testing, a probiotic and eating yogurt with your meals. A PPI can be prescribed by your physician. Watch for severe pain,fever and vomiting.

sometimes,my left shoulder hurts. when it hurts, it gets worse by eating cold water or ice cream. even eating bananas or dates increases the pain. and of course, if i drink boiling water, the pain decreases or even disappears for a while.what problem?

: Interesting story I cannot figure out how this could happen.  Keep detailed diary and share with your Dr. may be a new syndrome. Or others have heard if it.

Good question: Ra is usually symmetrical, so you might have something else going on in your left shoulder--bursitis, a rotator cuff problem, tendinitis, etc. Or you may just need to do some pt concentrating on your left shoulder.

Depending on your-: -age, this could be impingement. Some symptoms include trouble putting on a coat or blouse, fastening your bra, and a positive empty can sign. You extend your arm out in front of you, elbow extended &amp; pretend that you're emptying a can rotating your arm as is emptying a can. In Wisconsin we call it the empty beer can sign. If not painful or if it is, see an orthopedic surgeon.

Get it checked out: If it is not movement related but does get worse with respiration then it is likely coming from your lung.  The causes can be pleuritis, pneumonia, a blood clot, etc, so best to have it looked at.
