Anti-inflammatory: this is most likely a muscle strain. You could try a heating pad and/or a course of anti-inflammatory medication for a couple of days, like ibuprofen. if you have a fever you should see a doctor as it could be an infection.

Mastitis: Sounds like inflammation, possibly caused by a bacterial infection. You may want to see a health care provider.

Mastalgia: Breast pain is not usually a sign of cancer and is more commonly related to fibrocystic changes or simple mastalgia. However, you should be examined by your gynecologist and or breast surgeon or general surgeon to help figure out what is going on also imaging with an ultrasound could be helpful and or mammography.

See a Doctor: Any new lump in the breast should be a cause for concern, best handled by seeing your gyne or primary care doctor.  While most cancers are not painful, it is not a reliable finding.  Hopefully, your doctor will be able to alleviate your concern or refer you to a breast center/surgeon for definitive evaluation.  I hope its a false alarm--good luck.

Second opinion?: While there are a number of possibilities here, swelling in the armpit may represent an enlarged lymph node. If you have recently nursed a baby, you may have an infection, e.g. mastitis - though this usually presents with a fever. While breast cancer doesn't usually start with pain, I'd want to rule this out - though it is unlikely. Good doctors value second opinions. Make sure you're comfortable.

Probably: an infected lymph node in the axilla, lymphadentis, you need to see your doctor for assessment, or a surgeon, you may very well need antibiotics, meanwhile, use some warm compresses, rest and pain killers till seen, all the best

will get better after your period
stop caffeine
take vit e 800 iu daily

Lots to consider: This could be very insignificant to very significant.  If you are concerned, please be seen urgently.  This could be a simple strain of the are, could be shingles developing or could be a significant process such as a blood clot to the lungs.  If in doubt, check it out!
