blood pressure: Your blood pressure may be high. You should see a qualified doctor for a full exam, blood pressure check, and start of medication with frequent follow-up if you have elevated pressure.

PVC: If t is an infrequent, brief event with just one abnormal beat it is probably a pvc.  Premature ventricular contraction means the ventricle part of the heart delivers a beat before the normal pacemaker.  It happens very commonly.   Low potassium and other electrolyte problems would make this more common.  The cause could be significant but the PVC itself doesn't seem to cause problems.

May be true?: You need an echocardiogram. If you have certain valvular issues, (e.g. severe aortic insufficiency or severe mitral regurgitation) or a rare entity called "hypertrophic cardiomyopathy", you may be feeling an unusually forceful heat beat.  Alternatively, you may have "cardiac awareness."  An echo will sort this out. The treatments are different.

Elavil (amitriptyline): Common side-effect to elavil, (amitriptyline) depending on the dose, especially if dose was recently increased. Please inform your prescribing doc.

Cough: You should have your doctor check to see if you have asthma by doing a lung function test. Cough induced by cold air like in this case when you take a deep breath can be a sign of having undiagnosed asthma.

BECAUSE IT HAPPENS FREQUENTLY IN YOUNG PEOPLE WHO DON'T SLEEP WELL, DRINK TOO MUCH CAFFEINE OR UNDER STRESS. I SUGGEST SEEING MD TO DO  EKG . IF IT BECOMES CHRONIC , YOU NEED TO BE TAKING BLOOD THINNERS. SOME TIMES WE CAN CONVERT IT TO NORMAL RHYTHM BEFORE IT FORMS A CLOT . IT ALSO COULD BE SVT);THIS REQUIRES CARDIOLOGIST
