when i exercise pretty intensely i get a red face with pale patches on both sides of my cheeks and around my mouth/nose and some eye. whenever i get really tan i tend to get whiter pigmentation patches on my cheeks, besides im mixed, is it vitiligo?

Red face: Your face has many blood vessels -- and many are close to the surface of your skin.  This can increase as you age.  They are very responsive to emotion like embarrassment, anger, etc. Because of your mind-body connection.  Also some people have a condition called rosacea -- you get red face w/spicy foods, heat, alcohol, etc.

Lasers: Redness is caused by blood vessels in the face. Shrinking the blood vessels with lasers can help decrease the red appearance. Lasers which treat blood vessels include: ktp, nd:yag, pulsed dye, intense pulsed light  (ipl). Sun and meds that increase sensitivity to the sun (ie: retin-a, certain oral antibiotics, accutane) exacerbate redness.

Lightening creams: Can make your skin very sensitive to sunlight.  Make sure if you are using them to always wear as high spf of a physical sunblock as you can. Wear a wide brimmed hat and sunglasses. Avoid going out into the sun if possible on treatment days. You might need to spread your treatments apart to let your skin have more time to heal. That will help with redness. Skin ceuticals redness neutralizer great!

It will heal: Toothpaste haschemicalsthat can every irritating to skin and this is what caused the redness.  At this point, just let the area heal. In the. Future remember. That toothpaste should be use do ly on your teeth.
