why does my face get so red when i run/jog? even if running at easy pace it ends up beet red. other people running same as me do not have red face . ?

Red face: Your face has many blood vessels -- and many are close to the surface of your skin.  This can increase as you age.  They are very responsive to emotion like embarrassment, anger, etc. Because of your mind-body connection.  Also some people have a condition called rosacea -- you get red face w/spicy foods, heat, alcohol, etc.

Sun and meds that increase sensitivity to the sun (ie: retin-a, certain oral antibiotics, accutane) exacerbate redness.

Lightening creams: Can make your skin very sensitive to sunlight.  Make sure if you are using them to always wear as high spf of a physical sunblock as you can. Wear a wide brimmed hat and sunglasses. Avoid going out into the sun if possible on treatment days. You might need to spread your treatments apart to let your skin have more time to heal.
