Keep monitoring: Typically a pain in the belly that is not worse with pressing is not a serious problem.    However, it could be a DEVELOPING problem, such as appendicitis.  So if you get more pain WITH tenderness, fever, vomiting, or other symptoms you should probably be checked out.  Good luck!

: Could you have strained the abdominal musculature during chores,work or exercise?  Right lower abdominal pain with tenderness there would raise suspicion of appendicitis but your discomfort is higher in the abdomen. If discomfort persists or worsens, get examined by a physician for diagnosis and advice.
