Possible infection: From your description, it is important to clarify if you have gas in the bladder which can interrupt the stream and make you feel like you are urinating air for a short time.  This may be a sign of a serious issue like a fistula (connection to the intestines).  If you are having bubbles in urine and cloudiness, hydration/diet changes can cause this.  It would be helpful to check a urinalysis.

: If you think you have had untreated bladder infection then it is the most common cause of air inside the bladder. Please visit or call your doctor for a course of empiric antibiotic. Patient with Crohn's disease could have a fistula between the colon and bladder and air from colon will go to bladder. The urine in the latter condition is very turbid, sometimes bloody, very foul odor. Good luck.
