Nasal Stitches: Hello, it is common to see stitches come out of the nose after surgery. The stitches are in the front part of the nose after a septal surgery. Inform you doctor of your findings.

See a Dr.: Tinnitus is typically a middle ear problem. It is frequently caused by lack of sleep, depression, anxiety, and stress. Other underlying causes include: Exposure to very loud sounds on a regular basis, ototoxicity from meds (aspirin, diuretics, gentamycin, vincristine. See your Dr if this continues. Testing can be done.

is it normal to be a little dizzy 2 days after a head injury that required stitches?

Yes: Some balance disturbance or dizziness can be normal following a head injury.  Most patients will have complete resolution of symptoms with tincture of time.  If still present after 7-10 days, you should see your primary care provider.

Concussion: You are exhibiting typical symptoms of a concussion. You should do things that reduce your brain activity, such as not watching tv or playing on the phone or computer. Giving your brain time to rest is what heals a concussion and you should follow regularly with your physician for resolution of the symptoms.

i hit my head walking into glass window 5 days ago. my eyebrow got cut by glasses frame, went to er and got 6 stitches. no vomiting in 24 hr just mild dizziness. 3 days ago i started noticing mild headache, gets better after sleep but present.

May need MRI: The chances a
re you are still experiencing mild, transient effects from your mishap - i.e. mild concussion. My advice is to return to the ER where you were treated and let them decide whether to proceed further. An undiagnosed head injury would dangerous for you and disastrous for them so they will pay attention. If not, seek a 2nd opinion from a neurologist.

It's a migraine: Migraine headaches are often accompanied by dizziness and vertigo. Treatment of migraine will usually also relieve dizziness. Try to avoid drugs if possible - start with avoiding caffeine, getting enough sleep, 3-4 low-carb meals, aerobic exercise, biofeedback, magnesium, coq10, riboflavin, other supplements, Botox injections if headaches are frequent, and only then, drugs. Try migralex.

Headaches: Migraine headaches may present  with dizziness at times. However these symptoms are not exclusive of migraines. Consult with your physician for proper diagnosis and treatment as other more serious conditions need to be excluded. Hope you feel well soon.

Mild dehydration?: Try drinking more during the morning (caffeine free) and drink a large glass of water 30 minutes before your nap.  You may be a little dehydrated, depending on how much fluid you have had during the day.  See if that helps. If not, get checked.
