Maybe: coughing increases pressure in the abdomen. Increasing pressure in the abdomen pushes down on the internal inguinal ring. This is where the spermatic cord leading to the testicles enters the abdomen.  if inguinal hernia is present coughing can make the hernia bulge more and cause discomfort felt in the scrotum. Get examined by a physician

hi i had testical torsion surgery 5 weeks ago, but my left testicle has something very hard and staight attached to it 3-4cm? and right one hurts?

Need More Info: You did not say which side had the torsion, but assuming the left side was twisted, the mass you are feeling may be scar tissue forming when the testicle was tied down to kepp if from twisting.  Pain in the other testicle could be from a number of sources, from infection, spasm, to irregularities.

Chronic pain: Testicular injuries vary from mild bruising to complete rupture where the lining that holds the testicular tissue breaks.  This can set up a severe inflammatory reaction that can lead to bleeding, fluid build up and, in extreme cases, loss of the testicle.  A scrotal ultrasound can help see if any of these possibilities apply. Some men develop chronic pain from testicular injuries.

Get examined now: The potential causes of orchalgia (testicular pain) are numerous and can be either direct, such as torsion, infection, tumor or trauma; or indirect such as a ureteral stone, lower spine disorder or nerve entrapment. Immediate assessment is imperative especially in the teenage years as certain problems can result in testicular loss if medical intervention is delayed.

Not normal: Abnormal findings in the testicle is not normal and should be evaluated promptly by your physician. This may require an ultrasound of your testes to make sure it is not cancer.

Possible hernia: Lots of pressure goes to testes when you sneeze.  A temporary pain is ok.  But prolonged pain could be a hernia or varicocele.  If this happens over and over. See your doc or urologist

Have to be seen:: We cannot tell from your description, how deep the infection may be.  Please get seen quickly.  You definitely don't want this to get worse!  Go to an immediate care center, and urgent care center or your primary care doc and get evaluated and treated.

orchitis: Sounds like symptoms commonly seen with orchitis.  It take time for the swelling/edema to subside.  Give it time and it should improve.
