Clean, don't scratch: Clean the bedding well. Gently clean your body well too and wipe w/ diluted vinegar or witch hazel, etc. Use a hypoallergic lotion too. Take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) as directed. If you still suffer, see a Dr. You might need a lb test and/or a Rx anti-inflammatory. Try hard to not scratch! Avoid infection.

Fungus or eczema: You probably have s fungal infection on the plantar aspect of your feet.  The fungal infection causes itching, probably more so at night because you are aware of it, since you are barefoot in bed and have more access to your feet.  It could also be a contact allergy to a certain pair of shoes or something you have applied to your feet. Your best bet is to try an overt the counter anti fungal cream.

Neuropathy: diabetic neuropathy is not uncommon. Medication is avaolable to treat this; however you must be examined, get blood sugar and HgbA1c teswted and get nerve conduction studies: doo not ignore these symtoms and carefully monitor your blood sugars.

Hand/foot pain: There are many dermatologic conditions that could be affecting both your plams and soles of your feet.  If the burning and itching is affecting your daily life, try taking an oral anti-histamine and seeing your pcp/dermatologist/podiatrist.

Many possibilities : While fungus  (athlete’s feet) is a common problem with these symptoms, it is not the only one. Try an anti fungal agent such as Micatin cream for a week , wear cotton socks changed daily, anti fungal powder to keep feet dry,  and if your problem continues, see a podiatrist or your family doctor.

Need exam: Palms &amp; soles with these symptoms needs an examination because there a number of things that it could be &amp; these need to be ruled in &amp; out by inspection, blood work, &amp; history.  At any rate, if this is an absolutely brand new set of symptoms which have never been discussed with a doctor then, you've now figured out the time to go...NOW.....some blood work will help and then, appropriate medication

Reaction: It may be a type of reaction to something you're exposed to internally or externally or it could be an anxiety reaction. Think about possible triggers. Try taking an antihistamine. Benadryl causes drowsiness and can be taken at bedtime. Claritin is nondrowsy and take it during the day.  If it's anxiety, consider stress therapy coaching.

Call your Dr: Just being vertical should not cause petechial rash--your inr may be too high or there may be something else going on confusing picture. Odds are dr. Will want to get a spot-check inr to be sure nothing off kilter.
