why do my feet constantly hurt even when i sit down?

Swelling: It would help with more information but assuming this is pain in feet while standing for long periods of the day and when you sit they still hurt suggests the possibilty of some venous insufficiency that uually is good in the morning and at the end of the day the pain is there. If you check your legs for swelling and elevate the legs , pain should be better.  Please be  evaluated by a physician.

Painful feet: You may be wearing improper shoes that require you to be in your feet for long periods. See a podiatrist . He can fit you for orthotics, especially if you have flat feet

Different : Different conditions that include pain and feeling of heat from the bottom of the foot could include:   gout, which is a type of arthritis that causes pain and swelling at the great toe joint usually;  neuropathy, which is a nerve pain that is more common in patients with diabetes; or peripheral vascular disease, though that is often more painful when walking.  As there is a broad differential diagnosis, an examination by a physician is indicated.  Be sure to tell them any conditions and medications that you have.

Lumbar nerve pain: Coccyx pain without leg radiations often comes from a fracture of the coccyx itself, a common result of pregnancy delivery or falling on one's butt.  However, with the burning leg symptoms you're having, that suggests compromise of the lumbar spinal nerves.  Possibilities include facet joint swelling, disc herniations, disc narrowing.  You need a lumbar MRI for starters, then orthopedic referral

Pain: Could really be 3 reasons.  1. Nerve compression in you back causing pinching in the sitting position.  2.  Could be decreased blood flow when your knees are in the bent position.  3.  Compressing the sciatic nerve from the chair.

Be seen: There are multiple potential causes, so I would not hesitate to be seen and examined.  One if the more common causes of heel pain is plantar fasciitis, which causes pain and tenderness along the heel of the foot.  Neuropathy is a fairly common cause of a burning sensation in the soles of the feet, more common in patients with diabetes or thyroid disease.

Not many people: Can walk when they are sitting. I think you mean you can not walk after sitting. That can be a symptom of plantar fasciatis.

Depends: Could be plantar fasciitis, tendinitis, joint capsulitis. Make sure you are using good supportive shoes. Try OTC anti inflammatories. If no improvement see your local podiatrist.
