Cold sensitive: You are being chilled from the inside when you drink ice water. Your body may need to increase its heat production. Feeling chilled and trembling at not abnormal, but represent an extreme rxn.

See doctor-unusual : Sounds unusual for you to be having chills.  This might be because there is a problem with swallowing or digestion that is setting off a stress response in your body.  Best to get examined and checked out.

Dehydration : Dehydration is a common cause for headache so drinking water  may help your headache resolve if that was one of the contributing triggers for your headache.   A good rule of thumb is to drink half your body weight in ounces each day.  Remember to avoid caffeine as that can make you urinate all the water you are trying to hydrate with.  Happy drinking!

Meds & supplements?: If you are not taking any medications or supplements / herbals / protein, then you should be evaluated by a nephrologist. If any of the above, they may be contributing to elevated sg (via elimination in urine).

Nausea: after drinking water.  Please see your doctor to make sure all is well medically.  Then approach this as an experiment.  Drink some water at various temps., warm, cold, room temp, etc. and see how you respond to that.  Drink at different times of day and see how that feels.  Drink w/food and w/out. Be seen: I would definitely be seen.  Basically, when you are going through a self induced "stress test" you become light headed.  This is sometimes the presenting symptom for a cardiac problem.  That is not to say that you have a heart problem, but rather you should be seen to have this ruled out.

Dehydration: The suggested amount of fluids to drink is 6-8 glasses a day. During the hot summer months more replacement fluids may be necessary.
