Probably nothing. : If the white bumps are along the heel margins and only noticeable when pushed upwards against the bottom of the heel, then they are inconsequential fat globules that squeeze out from behind an enmeshment of tissue that contains them.

if i have been sitting for long or sleeping, i feel pain in the heels of my feet when i walk. i have lumps which are painful. i have tried exercises suggested by the doctor but its not helping. pain is worse if i bump against the lumpy area?

Heels lumps: Suspect pinching nerves when sitting.  As you did not say where limps were cannot help with that one. Discuss plantar fasciitis with your team.

Likely verruca: Vulgaris or common warts. Without an exam is not possible to get a firm diagnosis otherwise. i would suggest either a health tap paid consult or seeing your physician so that you can have the right treatment.

Visit a podiatrist: Help is available  ..Sounds like you may need some prescription orthotics..Do not go barefoot , use some ice and stick with shoes that have heels.  Advil (ibuprofen) two with breakfast lunch and dinner for 3days may also be helpful.

i am a teacher so i'm on my feet a lot. for a few weeks, i've had heel pain. it's tender and has a knot or bump on it. going up stairs is even painful. i know i'm overweight but this has never been an issue. what could this be?

Possible fungus : I will give you credit and say this, you sure tried  all the available options to try and treat it except one. That being over-the-counter antifungal medication. If that is available to you Lamisil is what I recommend.  If your feet perspire a lot this also needs to be addressed .   If you do not respond to this please seek medical attention

Could be a : Plantar fibroma, you should let a foot doc evaluate it. (I believe all lumps and bumps should be biopsied as they have "malignant twins")
