Maybe the flu: California has seen more flu cases this winter than cases seen over the past dozen years or so.  I hope you had your flu shot.   Check your temperature.  If you have a fever, then take tomorrow off, and stay in bed and drink plenty of liquids.  Take tylenol, (acetaminophen) less than 1.5 grams per day, if you do have fever.

Hot cold , sweats: Sore throat? Burning with urination? cough ? diarrhea? Would follow up with doc and check for strep throat, flu or urinary tract infection as all can cause subtle fever, sweats without  many other classic symptoms. rarely could be masses, but that is rare.
