Maybe change habits: Post-void dribbling is the leakage of a bit of urine after the penis is back in the pants. A man can see his primary care doctor or a urologist, since adults can have more serious problems. If the penis is normal and the foreskin is not trapping urine, then be sure the penis hangs freely while peeing. One should relax at the end to let the last drops come out. Women who drip have different issues.

Post Void Dribble: This is caused by a pooling of urine in the middle segment of the male urethra called the bulbar urethra. Thought to be secondary to atrophy of muscles around that segment that supports it. When you finish urinating, use the pads of 1-2 fingers to exert a firm, upward pressure behind your scrotum. Move the fingers forward in a stroking motion. Stroking will assist in “milking”out the trapped urine.

Go see your doctor: Urinary incontinence is more common in women than men. Loss of bladder control is worrisome for spinal cord injury, infection, prostate enlargement or loss of bladder strength, the latter two leading to urinary retention that then spills over & leaks. Go see your family doc for evaluation. Also review your medications, including over-the-counter stuff. Avoid decongestants & early antihistamines.

Dribbling.....: This must be frustrating for you. I know that sometimes an infection or irritation can cause the prostate gland to swell and this can lead to  an inability to fully empty your bladder when you pee.

If you were in my clinic i would ask lots of questions about your sex life, masturbation, bowel and bladder habits and stuff like that.  If you have no pain then this may very well resolve easily.

Depending on your age and gender the most common causes for women are a history of pregnancy (the bladder control muscles have been stretched) or other pelvic surgery. For men it is prostate enlargement. To try to help make sure you respond promptly every time you sense an urge to void and try the kegel exercises.
