Doesn't wear off: Prozac (fluoxetine) lasts 7-9 days from a single dose, so it doesn't wear off in the evening, your bloating is due to something else.

Bloating: Don't drink fluids while eating, don't eat fast, avoid dairy products & wheat, avoid fizzy drinks & too much sugar/salt, don't chew gum, avoid apples/peaches/pears, avoid gasy foods such as beans/cabbage/onions/broccoli/asparagus/brussel sprouts, eat more fiber.

Poop out: Unfortunately antidepressant poop-out isn't rare. This may happen with any antidepressant. Strategies to overcome this can include: a different antidepressant (especially combination ssri-snri), use of atypical antipsychotic (e.g. Abilify), or methyl donor such as same or folic acid.

Prozac (fluoxetine): It should be treating the original symptoms it was prescribed for, at optimum dose. If other factors are triggering more symptoms, for example social stressors, then adjustment in Prozac (fluoxetine) dosage might be warrented.

Half time: If you remember in the 1st half of the day - take it ASAP. If you're in the 2nd half (closer to the next dose, wait. Do NOT take two to make up for the missed dose!!! Try not to have this happen but don't worry - every now and then things get thrown off and it's okay. Relax.

See your doctor!: Evening primrose is a complex oil extract that has multiple problems with its use and should never be taken without a doctors advice, especially when someone is on both birth control medication and an antidepressant  medication as well.

: Most common cause of metallic taste is gum disease, tissue bleeding. Do you floss or WaterPik daily? Do you brush at least 2 full minutes by the clock at least 2x/day? If the answer to either of these questions is no, see your Dentist or preferably a specialist Periodontist for an evaluation.
