my son has whole body rashes. no fever. has a sore swollen right eye.  not sure whether both are connected to the same cause.

Nether do I: Go see your pediatrician and get your son examined and treated appropriately.  And do this soon.  The eye is nothing to fool around with or to delay in management.

Possibly miliaria: If the bumps only last a few hours, they might be miliaria, which is temporary plugging of your sweat ducts so that the sweat collects in the skin in tiny blisters. Miliaria can be very uncomfortable--sometimes it's called "prickly heat." you can avoid it by staying cool and dry.

i had a whole body rash 3 days ago, which now has gone thanks to some cream. now i have aching in the fingers. can an insect bite cause this?

YES!: You should be evaluated for LYME disease (if there are deer in your environment) This disease is TICK borne and can cause a rash followed by arthralgias/arthritis!

Not sure what it is.: Bed bug bites may have no sx's/signs except for 2 small skin puncture points. A reaction may show from an hr to several days later. It can cause itchy, pink, swollen, lesions w clear center. If hypersensitive blisters may occur. Telltale sign is linear track of lesions from sequential feedings – doesn't always occur. Bites are in areas exposed while sleeping-arms, shoulders, neck ; legs.  Bed bugs.

Allergy or infection: There are many caused of pruritus with rashes.  Thery can be caused by medications, infections, intermal medical problems, allergy. Or contact dermatis.  She needs evaluation by a dermatologist.

How long??: Body itch or " prurigo" can be part if allergic reaction ( not necessarily with rash), also common with dry skin . Other common condition is se section of itch with anxiety disorder! if any further concern , see your doc. Otherwise may give a try no allergenic body moisturizer as aveno etc. And antihistamine pill as zyrtec (cetirizine) daily

Be cautious: It sounds like you may have cold urticaria.  Antihistamines may help but be cautious because severe cold reactions may not be limited to skin rashes.  Check with your dermatologist.

i stopped taking penicillin 6 days ago and ever since the last day i took it i have whole body itching with no rash. is this an allergy and how long can it take to go away? i was only in a 3 day course.

Could be allergic re: This could be an allergic reaction and if mild can use Benadryl but if you are having symptoms of airway issues go seek immediate medical treatment
