Sure!: Expired whitening gel just means that it may not be as strong. If it is expired more than 6 months or so, i would get new gel or strips. Peroxides do break down after time and are not as effective.  But if it is only a few months out of date, it won't hurt to use them. Don't use the gel longer than directions state, even if expired.

Not bad: But there is a limit as to how white your teeth will get.  After a point, you are just wasting your money.  If you are not satisfied with the color that white strips can achieve, see your dentist.  We have access to much more efficient whitening solutions.

Warm salt water rins: I would recommend warm salt water rinses 3 x daily x 2 days.  If the discomfort has not resolved by then, you need to see your dentist

Possibly: Some peoples teeth are sensitive to peroxide whitening agents.  This is especially true in teeth with areas of biting edge wear (front teeth) and gumline recession with resulting tooth root surface exposure.

Teeth Stains: Whitening strips can eliminate the good bacteria for others. Brush with a  Armand Hammer tooth paste.
Eat Greek yogurt 2x daily. Have your hygienist clean your teeth, and have the doc take a look. Ask them about cures. You may be a mouth breather. Other stuff may be going on. Ask the DOC.

Sheer white strips are only available at dental offices. 

They are typically worn 2-8 hours.

They work quite well.
