? Fungal Disorder: You may possibly have tinea versicolor, a fungal infection that  can result in white spots on the skin, especially if you have  been out in the sun and are tanned.  Consult your primary care physician or a dermatologist for evaluation and treatment.

Fungus?: You may have an early fungal infection, commonly know as ringworm. Don't forget that the person who used the tanning bed before you sweat just as much as you do. I always recommend the stand-up tanning booths to my patients that insist on tanning.

Maybe: Sounds like you have tinea versicolor, this is treatable with a antifungal cream. After treatment  and over time (months to years) the skin can return to it's original color.

Hard to say: Could be a fungal infection like tinea alba or vitiligo (loss of pigment) or a reaction to a medicine or skin product.  Other things could do it, too, including leprosy!  See a doc and get it sorted out.

Sun damage: Those "white spots" are likely areas of low pigmentation brought about by damage to the melanocytes (cells that make pigment) from the sunburn. It may take a year for them to kick back in and for your skin to look normal color again. In the meantime, make sure you use sunscreen daily and pamper your skin in next few months with moisturizers and avoidance of irritants.

Possible fungus: Certain fungal infections of the skin often appear as white patches, particularly after sun or tanning light exposure as the affected skin does not darken as much as the surrounding skin.  Over the counter and prescription medications are available for these types of infections.

White spots on skin: Many times these white spots are from a fungal infection. My patients get some relief slowly with a daily dose of Fluconazole or ketoconazole.  I often recommend a ten day prescription for this.

Possible: There is a form of skin whitening called idiopathic guttate hypomelanosis...A mouthful...But it means little dots of pigment loss.  Some doctors believe it is from sun damage, which tanning beds can certainly accelerate.
