Be patient: A baby floating in the slick moist environment of the womb will have pristine skin at birth.Between 2 wks and 2 months, more than half of infants will have transient baby acne triggered by the hormones that came across during pregnancy.Keeping it clean allows it to run its course. If any sites are more inflamed or persistent, your doc should evaluate. It should fade completely by 3 mo.

Patience: Baby acne is a common and temporary  problem.It usually appears by age 2 weeks and disappears by 3 months. Keeping the skin clean is the major plan. If it persists after 3 months and or intensifies, some normal ace treatments can be beneficial, but the doc should look into unusual hormonal issues as a cause at that point. Water is okay but unnecessary. It won't change the skin issue.

my new born baby girl is 2 weeks old, she is busy getting pimples in her face,,,she drinks breast milk only, i think its sour and not a heat rash, can we give her water or are we allowed to?

Might be a boil: With a visit to his doctor, a person can get his bump diagnosed and treated. Most boils are treated with drainage of the pus inside. Antibiotics are sometimes, but not always, used after that. For boils that don't look like they are thin enough to lance through the skin, antibiotics may be used to stop the infection... and then a doctor can decide if later further treatment is needed.

Probably normal: It's likely normal, but can't say for sure without a photo. Neonatal acne is very common and occurs in 2-3 week-old infants, typically on the face. It'll likely go away on its own within 1-2 weeks. However, if it looks infected (red, warm, painful) or you start to see thicker yellow crust (not just whiteheads), then you need to see your doctor.

STD or Folliculitis?: Pimples/ Pus filled bumps in the genital area can indicate several things. If these pus filled bumps are on the surface of the penis an STD is most common. If the bumps are on the thighs or where the hairs are located it can indicate folliculitis which occurs when hair follicles become plugged and infected. It would be wise to see a Dr for exam/treatment.
