i have what looks like a pimple on my lacrimal caruncle part of my eye. it is not on the eyelid at all. what could a growth be that appears not on/in the lid but rather the caruncle part? thank you?

Itchy eyes: Itching and stinging without abscess formation is commonly caused by allergies or dry eyes. Artificial tears may help while you can see the doctor.

Inflammation: This sounds like an inflamed nasolacrimal duct opening.  If it is not itching or hurting, you may just give it a few days.  In the meanwhile, try warm compresses with the eyes shut for 15 minutes daily to see if this helps.  If the crusts fail to resolve in a few days or become dark yellowish or greenish, it is time to consult your doctor.

Pimple?: I'm not sure what you mean.  Do you mean your eyelid?  Or is it on the white of the eye itself (the conjunctiva)?  How long has it been there and what is going on with your symptoms?  I'd see you family doctor, and then go from there.

Many things: It could be many things, a small inclusion cyst, a stye, a papilloma (viral skin tag), a skin cancer, etc.  See and ophthalmologist.

Stye: This is likely a stye.
Apply hot wet compresses with a wash rag as warm as you can tolerate for 10 minutes four times a day to the affected eye

Hot compresses: This  may be a clogged meibomian gland, an oil producing part of the lid. Since this is an oil gland , hot compresses will help make the oil less thick and then drain. Get a moist washcloth heat it in the microwave until hot, place on over eye for 10 minutes. Repeat 3-4 times a day. If no improvement ina month or if getting bigger see a doctor.

Don't be alarmed!: If you are looking at the inner portion of the lower lid, that is near your nose, you have located the lower puntum. This is a structure that is responsible for the drainage of your tears. Thear is also one on the upper lid as well. These can occasionally get inflamed inflamed and can get infected which would require treatment.

Allergic shiners: The dark circles under your eyes may be due to sllergies. They are caused because if you have astuffy nose your blood stagnates and shines through your fine skin.Speak to your doctor or consult an allergist for evaluation and treatment.

i was given elomet cream to use around my eyes as i had an allergic reaxtion to the metal in my glasses. can i use it on pimples as well?

No: Elomet is a steroid cream and can help with allergic reactions or dry skin or other areas that are inflamed (like bug bites). Steroids can. sometimes, make  infections (viral or bacterial) worse.  So, since acne is complicated by bacteria, don't use this.  Steroid creams also delay wound healing, so don't use it on open sores or cuts.
