Unclear question: If you are collecting 24 hour urine for cortisol, you obviosuly are under the care of a doctor and it would be better to address the question to your doctor. White particles may be innocous such as mucus or serious if it is pus.

is it normal to have particles in urine?

No: Normal urine should be clear and light yellow in color. Cloudy urine may due to a harmless precipitation of phosphate crystals in alkaline urine. You can try drinking an acidifying substance like cranberry juice and lots of water to see if this will clear up the issue.  However, this could also be something more worrisome like a urinary tract infection, especially if the urine has a strong odor.

i have brown colored discharge and particles in urine. i thought it was the end of my period but it's been like this for about 5 days now.

Brown urine : Now that you have determined it is urine  with burning and not period. Please get routine urinalysis, culture & sensitivity. Your doctor will be able to tell you the cause whether infection or blood from kidney, ureter or bladder. Many reasons. Dizziness can be due to blood loss causing anemia. Lexapro (escitalopram) can also cause dizziness and bleed rarely. See your doctor and wish you good health.

i have white small stringy particles in urine. no symptoms but  scared something is wrong. did a cmp blood test and all was normal. what could it be?

Urinalysis: A urine examination would have been more useful than a CMP. Do you have any symptoms? Could it be mucus from your genital tract rather than coming from the urinary bladder?
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

i have been checking my blood sugar for the past 3 days and its 116 115 127 i'm not diabetic but my family has it.can i have prediabetes i have  particles in urine.uti neva go .need help what to do.

See your PCP: First of all, make sure you do fingerstick on an empty stomach.  Second of all, you may have glucose intolerance. Please see your pmd to determine, may need to have 2 hr glucose tolerance test done.

No not normal: If urine is really coming out of the vagina, that is not good and means youha some type of fistula that will need to be repaired after a proper and detailed work up  good luck.

Recurring cystitis: Assuming that you've had a complete urologic work-up and it was normal, it is likely that your bladder lining is simply prone to bacterial infection.  More of a problem when a women becomes sexually active ( that is when bacteria get from vagina to urethra and bladder).  Urinate after intercourse and try drinking a daily glass of cranberry juice.  You may need low dose antibiotics for prevention.

urine from vagina not urethra.  always happens during period.  soaks tampon, pad, underpants and pants.  cystoscope was normal.

Try postvoid drain..: Try leaning forward to void, tighten the pelvis 2-4 times after each voiding, use less bulky tampon, and soak and dry the genital area with soft paper before pulling up the pants.; and see what happens.  Best luck.
