Probably something else.: BV typically is a malodorous discharge with slight itching or burning (not a prominent feature). Itchy bumps suggest something else.

for months now, sporatic itchy bumps flare up on various parts of my body. i have tried hc and benodryl cream but nothing solves. what could this be ?

Hives.: This sounds like hives or urticaria. This can occur due to newer medications, contact to something you are hypersensitive to or undetermined causes. Avoid Benadryl (diphenhydramine) cream and try instead oral Benadryl (diphenhydramine) at night or during the daytime hours, use non-sedating zyrtec. If this is not effective, see your dermatologist.

Red Bumps in Groin: Small red bumps found on the groin may be caused by folliculitis which is isually a bacterial imfection, genital herpes which is a viral inection or scabies the red bumps can also be caused by molluscum another vital infection.. If the red bumps do not go away or appear to get worse, contact a health-care provider.

Hypersensitive skin: This could represent dermographism, where you can cause welts on your skin with pressure, like writing. Physical urticaria, or hives, also possible. I usually have someone try an oral anti-histamine for this problem.

Hives: Thisis an allergic  reaction most  likely. As long as she has no breathing problems or loss of blood pressure  these are  hives. You can try bendryl but you will need to see your  doctor. Look for exposures  like a new  medication, a food, now fabrices, new  chemical exposures, infection = the list is very long  and often we  can not discover the cause. We call this urticaria.

Red: Given you are describing a red rash that is spreading, I would be concerned for an infection. Sounds like you were treated for a contact dermatitis , but this should respond. I suggest you get checked.

Maybe folliculitis: It sounds like you have folliculitis an infection and inflammation in the hair follicles. See your dermatologist for treatment but in the interim you can try a benzoyl peroxide wash.
