: You should get seen by your doctor and have your stool tested to make sure it is not blood. If it is blood, you should see a GI doctor to see why you have blood in your stool. If there is no blood in your stool, then it is likely diet-related. Sometimes, there could be something red colored in the food you are eating that you are not aware of. So, see your doctor. ive noticed a couple black specs on stool here and there. they appear like blackish flakes. does this indicate internal bleeding. its not a lot just one or two every couple days?

Black stool flakes: These flakes may be normal if you are breastfeeding and you are getting blood mixed in with the breas milk. It could be something in baby food as well. However, are you breastfeeding and have you experienced nipple cracking and bleeding. Keep the pediatrician in the loop however and report any changes at all.

Undigested particles: If the white spots aren't motile, most likely these may be Undigested food/fat particles. It can be part of an irritable bowel syndrome. Pl see a doctor for an evaluation.

Diarrhea: Your descriptions are too vague to warrant an appropriate answer. My advice would be to see your local doctor and if necessary be referred to a GI doctor. Health care in the UK is viewed as outstanding by most US physicians and I would encourage you to use it. Hope this helps.

Rectal bleeding?: if you have had a negative stool for blood while you're having the black flakes in your stool, then it is unlikely that this is a sign of internal bleeding. Usually when bleeding happens like that, the entire stool turns black and fowl-smelling. If that occurs, you should get it retested. Good luck.

GI Bleeding: I am not sure where you got the worry about celiac disease in all of the possible problems this represents.  I would make sure your GI doctor has tested the stool for blood and if necessary scheduled you for an upper endoscopy.

Fatty stool: Fatty stool or steatorrhea is mal absorption of fatty food due to decrease or absent pancreatic enzymes. Please discuss with your doctor if pancreatic enzyme replacement is right for you.

my stool contains black large flakes, say 1/4 inch in size.  1 1/2 days   previous history of colon canc 15 yrs ago.  anything to be concerned?

Black stool: Black stool or tarry black stool is a sign of upper GI tract bleeding, not from colon, but anyway needs to be evaluated.
