Can make worse: Stop the fiber or add a osmotic laxative such as miralax. Miralax or polyethylene glycol 3350 is a powder which is dissolved in liquid. You can take MiraLAX 17 g once to twice daily. You may not experience any effect for the first day or two but continue to use it. Main side effects of MiraLAX are dehydration from diarrhea if you have too great of a response you can lower the dose

Stomal obstruction: Ii have normal stomal function before , have the above symptoms most likely caused by  stomal obstruction  at fascial level , or new pathological obstruction  in colon , see your surgeon after the tests will need colonoscopy to find the cause , and to treat.

Stool long fibre: Thin long string like substance? In the stool. Did you save it? Please talk to your dr. Sometimes tapeworms or round worms can do that , depending on where you live and what you eat? Unlikely. But talk to your dr.

Try Miralax (polyethylene glycol): Transit time through your colon must be very slow and your colon reabsorbs water making the stool firm and hard. Fiber may only bulk things up worse if you have slow transit time. Try miralax, (polyethylene glycol) over the counter, as it works by keeping water in the stool making it easier to move through and keeping the stools soft.

Not enough fiber?: Often patients feel they are taking in enough fiber, but may not be getting the right type, amount, or mix of the above.  Consider taking a psyllium husk supplement such as Konsyl or Metamuci (generic available).   If this still is causing trouble, consider seeing a GI doc or Colorectal Surgeon. 
Sitting in a warm bath tub can help relax this sensation at times.  Meditation and yoga can also help.
