do i need to see a doctor to treat what appears to be cold blister sores in the corners of my eyes?

Herpes and eyes: Blister sores may be caused by the herpes virus which can cause a severe eye infection. Please consult your doctor or an ophthalmologist to get the proper treatment.

there's blood in the upper inside corner of my eye & it appears to have a blister like area. it is painful when eyelid has to move across it.

Could be scleritis: If the redness is associated with a tender area you should see an ophthalmologist.  It is possible that this is scleritis which requires treatment.

ITP blood blister: One could get blood blister( subconjunctival hemorrhage )  from eye strain, trauma, contact lenes or low platelets . Since you have ITP would get a complete blood count and platelet count today and would call you hematologist/ doctor and let them know as well. .

See ophthalmologist: This could be an episode of shingles (herpes zoster involving trigeminal V-1) and seems to be involving eye directly.  Have a physician examine him ASAP

Eyelid problem: It is not cancer.  There are several possible causes including certain infections, allergy to something you put on the eyelids and seborrhea

blurred vision occasionally, dry and red in outer corners late at night. no lesions, pus,pimples or blisters. 8 years ago diagnosed with hsv1 on vagina but i have kept it at bay. is it eye herpes or something else? during the day redness goes?

: Compromised vision of any kind should be evaluated by an ophthalmology physician. Obtain a referral from your primary care physician or GYN physician.

: It is possible to spread HSV from one area to another. It is possible you picked up the virus and touched your eye is how it spread. HSV 2 may also be seen in the facial area apart from the genital area.

if the eye: Is itchy, then treat it as allergies, with cool compresses, over the counter ketotifen eye drops and avoidance of triggers.  If the blisters you refer to are on the lid, then this could be a herpetic infection and you will need help from your eye md.

How long...: Are we talking about? Are the blisters on one side or both? Upper and lower lid? Pain that accompanies the blisters? New skincare products? Sun exposure? Are they really blisters or solid bumps like skin tags? The most worrisome thing would be Shingles and you are the correct age for that. If these are new, on one side and accompanied and preceeded by tingling or burning pain see MD right away.

Sometimes: If you are describing a conjunctival cyst, they sometimes need to be removed surgically.
