Remember that! people usually grow out of shyness, another word for it.  I used to be shy, no one would know it now.  Just talk!  don't worry about sounding like a fool and you have it licked!

The national health service is more about staffing these facilities than end services for patients. Call the most appropriate facility and they should be able to answer your questions.

It : It is not uncommom for a small root tip to break off during an extraction. It is not necessarily negligence. It may have been determined at that time that it was more risky to try to remove the broken piece than to leave it and see how you heal.

Are you in pain, or are you swollen, or is there any numbness? If not, then it might be better to leave it. It is not a foreign object. Over time, it may slowly work it's way to the surface where it can easily be removed without any risk.

Only examination of your current condition will give you the treatment options that you can consider.

MRA for h/a: MRA would show even small aneurysms, so if you are concerned it may add some additional information about the vessels, including small or stenotic vessels and the carotids. Also consider thyroid, diabetes, musculoskeletal strain ,eyestrain from computer, allergies,sinusitis,  food intolerances ( MSG is classic), mitral valve prolapse,hydrocephalus should have been seen on MRI,and migraines.
